Want to be more flexible?
a few tips...
 

Go sloooooow.  Don't force things.  Stretch several times a day, but don't push too hard.
 
Start with the easy stuff.  Start stretching in a butterfly, or something easy.  Don't just try sliding into splits or something like that right away.
 
Warm up!  Don't expect to be flexible when you're cold.
 
Don't be discouraged!  It might not be easy at first, but you'll get there eventually!       
 
 

A few of my favorite stretches:

wall stretch: great for straddle splits
 
frog: great for hip flexibility
 
lunges: good warm-up for splits
 
barre stretches: a good all-over stretching routine.  stretches legs, hips, side, and arms

Don't be discouraged because someone else is more flexible than you!  You'll get more and more flexible as you stretch!!
